For those who have been to our past camps and are coming again this June, you should know what camp night is about right??
I'm opening the option for you all to request for songs, be it Techno/Dance/R&B/Pop and etc. Dedicating it to a special someone you know with a secret message?? Want to hear a particular song you can dance with your friends in camp?
No problem!! Just leave me a pm with your name via msn (jb07@hotmail.com)or at my facebook (http://www.facebook.com/#!/Ninja.jB) with the song request! Don't be shy because its not opened for campers only, even the leaders can dedicate it to you! :D
Don't worry if you didn't manage to make a dedication before camp starts because you can do so in camp!
Note: Song requests are subjected to availability and time constraint.
Once again, bringing you the best of the best music in YBC Camps this is your camp DJ jB @ Jesper signing off~!
It has been a long time since our last meet up.Good news is that we have an event coming up soon. The event is to celebrate Moon Cake Lantern Festival with WAY and it will be on the 18th of September,a Saturday. The event will be at WAY,the usual place we meet.It is a day where we can meet up and bring joy to others. On that day itself, elderlies from an old folks home will be going to WAY and we were asked to help out in carrying out the activities on the day itself. We will be meeting at 4:30 pm before the elderlies arrive to make preparation and dinner will be provided too.For those who are interested, please inform me and let me know ASAP.My current number is 81632395.Thank you.

Hello people!I know that it has been a long time since there has been any updates on the blog and it's kind of dead. But right now, there's going to be an event coming up soon. The details are as followed:
On both days,we will have a booth set up to help publicize our own group and we will also be performing on both days. This year, there will be two performances from our very own group - the STOMP and dance. We hope that you guys can come down and give us your support.
There will be plenty of activities on that day,not just only our performance,to keep you entertained and I'm sure it will be fun like always. If anyone of you are planning to join us on that day, please let me know by sending me a message to me or give me a call.My contact number is 97393371.
One last thing I want to inform you guys is that there is an upcoming event organized by Buddhist Fellowship. They are holding a concert from 20th of May to 22nd of May.The concert starts at 8pm and tickets are selling at $10 each.A few of us will be attending the concert including myself and if anyone of you are interested please contact me asap as I have to confirm with Sis Jackie.Lastly,I hope to see you guys on that the 8th and 9th of May and also,to all those having exams soon,I wish you all the best and good health.=)
Hi all! There is going to be like a forum discussion at PKS this sun and next sat to talk about any questions you have regarding Buddhism. During this event, you can voice out any of your queries (e.g Why do we need to go to temple? Can we don't go? or Why do we need to chant in pali? Can we do it in English? etc. )
This conversation is held so as to learn what are the youths (like me and you) thinking about Buddhism these days and try to understand the new generation thinking.
I think it's quite meaningful so if you have the time to spare and just have nothing to do during your weekends, why not just go down, share your views and opinions while enjoying some light refreshments?
Its just a relaxing conversation session so if you're interested can either tell me by tuesday den we compile and see if we can go together OR you can just go ahead and email them yourself. =]
Once again, THANK YOU to everyone who came down yesterday to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival at WAY with the old folks. Your help is much appreciated and I hope you guys had fun too! =] Hope to see you all again soon!!
When I have the photos I will be coming back to edit this post. =]
Also, Hope you had a wonderful birthday celebration Phimol!! Happy Belated Birthday!!
There'll be a YBC gathering on the 26 Sept at WAY. We will be coming down to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival with the old folks, play with lanterns, eat mooncake and also sing and perform some songs! Also, its a time for us to just gather and enjoy the night together!!
Details are as follows:
Date: 26 September 2009 (Saturday) Venue: Wat Ananda Temple Time: 4.15pm to 9.30pm (dinner provided) Attire: Orange YBC member tee
I know that many of you will be having your promos and end of years but I really hope that you can just take some time off to relax and chill before your exams by joining us in this joyous occasion! Mid Autumn is a time of bonding and for family and friends to reunite under the beautiful night sky. =]

Just a reminder, our registration is going to close in 2 weeks time! Hurry and register now as more spaces are being filled! Registration and Indemnity forms can be downloaded at the left side of this webpage.
Here, I will like to give a little more detail about what our camp is about:
During this camp, our particpants will be able to make many new friends coming from different parts of singapore, different schools, different ages and different temples. However, the similarity between all the youths are that, we come from a same religion or we want to learn more about Buddhism.
Also, our leaders all have a common goal and purpose. In all the camps that we have done, we want to propagate Dharma and Buddhism to more youths out there in a fun and enjoyable way. We hope to let more youths understand and learn Dharma through a more relaxing method amidst bonding new friendships.
In our camp, we will have short meditation sessions, puja and dharma talks but do not worry! All our activities are very introductory hence, making it suitable for even those who are getting in touch with Buddhism for the first time. This is only one part of the camp.
The other major part of our camp is GAMES! Through the games, we hope to instill leadership qualities and team spirit in all our participants. Therefore, all our participants can look forward to 3 days 2 nights of fun filled activities and precious experiences to bring back!
For any further enquiries, please feel free to email us at ybc@live.com.sg. We will try our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Over here, I will also like to thank ALL our leaders for the hard work put in during the preparation of the camp as well as during the promotion period during Vesak.
