This year, Young Buddhist Chapter will once again be involved in Vesak @ Orchard 2009! So, Come on down and give us your support!
Details are as follows:
Date: 25th and 26th April 2009
Time: 9.30am to 9pm (Sat)
8.30am to 6pm (Sun)
Venue: Platform in front of Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza
Theme: Buddhist Benefits You and Me
This year, other than the food fair and performances, there will be a new platform called "The New Happi Campaign" whereby it aims to bring the entire Buddhist Youth community together to show how happiness can be discovered by becoming a Buddhist Youth.
Young Buddhist Chapter is proud to be part of this campaign and we are calling out to more youths out there to come and join us!!
Also, our very own STORM group will be performing during these 2 days of Vesak Celebration including "Buddhist Youth佛教青年‘Live’@Stage". This event brings together buddhist youth groups to come and showcase their talents as well as promote buddhism to more youths.

25 Apr Sat 星期六, 3pm-5pm
See, hear and feel the vibrancy and energy of Buddhist youths onstage!
Hosted by Radio 100.3 DJ Xiaozhu.
Our performing timeslots are at:
Sat: 12pm and 3pm
Sun: 10am, 11am and 2pm
(For Sunday 10am and 2pm slots, the event is "Buddhist Youth ‘LIVE’@Gazebo – A showcase of budding music talents from Institutions of NEW HAPI". )

For this Vesak @ Orchard, YBC wil be having a booth to promote our Young Buddhist Camp 2009!
Hence, we're calling for all Chapterians, ex participants etc. to help us in promoting camp!!
