Young Buddhist Camp 2007
Dear all of the chapterian family, once again, Young Buddhist Camp is back. This time round, in courtesy of Ven Seck Kwang Ping, the camp will be held in the present Singapore Buddhist Federation location. Details are as follow:
Venue: Present Singapore Buddhist Federation
Date: 14th -17th Jun 07
I understand that most of you guys have commitment in some way or other, but do hope that you guys will fork out time to make this camp a success. This is the largest scale camp that we organised in years. Every single one of ya will make a difference.
There will be a meeting for ALL chapterians this coming sat (24/03/07) @ 2pm. Venue will most prob will be at Singapore Buddhist federation, we will confirm the venue with you all again. Hope that all of u guys can make it, we wish to see you guys there.

Plans 4 the Year
Next, i am going to address the plans for this year apart for the camp.
We are trying to secure a permanent venue for our Youth Group so as to carry out activities on a frequent basis. we wil update you guys on this so pls stay tune.
Young Buddhist Chapter was once again being invited to perform in this year's Vesak @ Orchard Celebrations. We are thinking of doing something different and once again hope that you guys will join in the fun to celebrate the most important festival on the Buddhist calender. For those who have ideas or are interested, pls contact Ady @97288485.
Above mention are all the activities we plan out till Jun.

Aspirations for YOUNG BUDDHIST CHAPTER
I would like to take this opportunity to express some of my aspirations for Young Buddhist Chapter.
This is the forth year since the born of Young Buddist Chapter, as a unit, we have been through alot. But i am glad that you guys stick together and strive forward. This Youth group was set up to show to the rest of the world that Buddhism can be different and fun, i am glad we are on the right track.
I want to emphasize to all chapterians that Young Buddhist Chapter does not belongs me, him or her in particular but to all of us. Every single one of you guys contributed to the success so far. However, what we achieve so far is not enough.
I hope that we can work together to make Young Buddhist Chapter the largest and most successful Youth group in Singapore portraying a FUN, DYNAMIC & INTELLECTUAL image. i belief that with teamwork, committment and dedication from every single chapterian, we can definitely bring YOUNG BUDDHIST CHAPTER to greater heights.
I hope that you guys understand what i am getting to, All the best and hope to see you guys real soon.
